From announcing our new technology partnership with Harvest Technology and catching up with new and old contacts, the Digital Edge Subsea team have had a great exhibition at Oceanology International Americas 2023.
We had some great conversations about our recently announced partnership. If you haven’t heard here’s a short introduction: Harvest is the leading provider of cutting-edge video streaming protocols, which when embedded into Digital Edge’s EdgeDVR technology, will provide users with an unrivalled ability to record video offshore as well as live stream high-quality feeds using ultra-low bandwidth directly via the cloud, removing the need for additional hardware mobilisation.
It was very interesting to see the new technologies being displayed, especially the great array of Micro ROVs. Fellow Cumbrian company Blueprint Subsea was also exhibiting, and commented “Great to see the Oculus multibeam sonar installed on so many ROVs at #OiA2023 this week.”
